This track (Scarlet-Fire) has been buried at the end of Saint of Circumstance on the Nassau 81 Dicks Picks (13) since it was first put out. I remember when I first encountered it…letting the discs run, and at the 7:30 mark of the track it starts…
I was so knocked out by it I called the Dead's Offices in San Rafael to learn from whence it came. They were kind enough to pass it on. This happened in 1999 before the archive, etc. so I remained happy with this little bit.
And, now having just checked, its listed in the Wikipedia entry…
I'm looking forward to hearing it all!

Simply exceptional. I'm guessing it has not been released because of the holes in the board.

whoa, that's a seven course meal...the transition is as out there as any scarlet fire I can recall. I don't remember listening to this one before, so enjoyable. Thanks to all who brought it here.

All I have to say about this show is... Wow! Are you kidding? Just sit back, put your headphones on and turn it up. You'll be glad you did.

Simply awesome. Highest recommendations, both to the performance itself and Mr. Charlie Miller's work on bringing the full show to us.

The S>F does deserve all the accolades it has received, but don't stop there - Playin' is as good, if not better - just listen to Brent!
